Perle d’Or, meaning “Golden Pearl,” is an intricately handcrafted couture piece created to celebrate femininity, opulence, and the art of meticulous embellishment.
Sculpted in luxurious liquid blush satin, the design features a structured couture corset that dramatically accentuates and contours the hips and waist, creating a sculptural hourglass silhouette. The piece is heavily embellished with thousands of individually hand-placed pearls, complemented by rhinestone-trimmed embellishment and intricate gold embellishment that frames the corset and follows the natural curves of the body.
The cascading pearl detailing continues throughout the bodice and skirt, creating dimension, movement, and the illusion of liquid jewelry flowing across the silhouette. From the structured bust to the dramatic hip detailing, every section was carefully designed and embellished by hand.
With an estimated 2,000–3,000 individual pearls incorporated throughout the piece, Perle d’Or required approximately 25–40 hours of hand placement and embellishment alone, in addition to the construction, fitting, finishing, and couture detailing of the garment.
Each pearl, rhinestone trim, and gold embellishment was intentionally positioned to enhance the body's natural form, making the garment more than a costume—it is wearable art and a testament to the patience, precision, and craftsmanship behind couture.
Perle d’Or is where softness meets extravagance: a golden pearl brought to life through couture.
